Tube Feeders

All three tube feeders are developed by Vissing Agro. They are designed to match the demands of weaned pigs and finishers, respectively. We have emphasized that the tube feeders are easy to adjust for correct feed allocation and ow feed wastage whether it is mashed or pelleted feed. The tube feeders are made of strong plastic and stainless-steel materials, which ensures a long durability. The design comprises a closed plastic funnel with a lid and a stainless-steel tube which makes the feeders very easy to clean.

The design of the trough is based on the anatomy and size of the pigs so that they have easy access to the feed agitator and short learning time to operate the feeder. The feeder comes with an extra rotor module under the feed pipe which makes it easier for the pigs to get feed out as well as to keep the feeder clean, dry and avoid clogging.

Feeders might be provided with troughs in stainless steel or polyester concrete with or without integrated protection plate. The protection plate ensures lower feed consumption and protects the concrete slats/floor from corrosion. The width of the feeders might be adapted to fit most existing pig units.
