Feeding systems

Vissing Agro has a complete technology program within dry feeding either in the form of in-house developed products or AZA’s complete program with 38 mm, 48 mm and 60 mm feeding systems as well as spare parts for most systems present on the Danish market.

Functionality and reliability have been the main focus while developing our feeding system which includes simple filling systems for tube feeders and volume dispensers, automatic opening solutions and advanced phase feeding systems with up to 5 diets.

Drive units are prepared for 38-, 48- and 60-mm conveyor pipes. The cabinet is made of stainless steel and designed according to CE standard. It is available as both a standing and horizontal model suspended from the wall or ceiling.

Hoppers are also built in stainless steel and are available as a single or double hopper with and without motor and with augers for both mashed and pelleted feed. Connections for all common silos are in stock.

Corner wheels are in cast aluminum and with double closed ball bearings for long durability. In addition, they are waterproof.  Furthermore, corners are offered in fiberglass-reinforced plastic for light loads.

Feed transported via a lightweight chain made of high-strength steel with nylon carriers. The feeding system length can be up to 300 meters and in some cases even longer.

Volume dispensers are available in many sizes and types, including our own designed 7.5 l dispenser with scale in stainless steel, removable funnel without the use of tools. In addition, the program comprises various systems from AZA, including the well-known TDM dispenser with 4 l to 10 l volume which has stainless scale straps for easy feed adjustment. For all types, it is possible to lock the volume dispensers individually to prevent release of feed together with the other ones.

Two feed pipes can be connected to both Vissing Agros’ and AZA’s systems allowing two types of feed to be provided.

With its 50 l`s content, the floor feeding dispenser is a very userfriendly and competitive solution for floor feeding of gilts and sows kept in groups. The dispenser is 100 cm wide and due to its modest height it might be mounted on a feed conveyor 225-230 cm above the floor. The dispenser is easily adjusted with two “steel combs” of the same type as in the the Vissingmat feeders. Both manual and automatic opening might be chosen.

Our controllers have also been developed with a strong focus on simplicity and reliability and include everything from simple controls running a drive unit to advanced controls for handling augers, hoppers recorders, phase feeding and mixed feed types etc.
